Nature and Awesomeness, A Trip to Gabon



You may be a nature freak, looking for a place filled with excitement. You are thinking about paying a visit to an African country but you are not really certain about the most suitable place where you will feel safe and have a tremendous experience. You should therefore consider going to Gabon.

Lope National Park
Gabon is a french speaking African country located  in central Africa whose capital and main city is Libreville. with a population of 1,5 millions, the country shares its west coast with the Atlantic ocean, its northern boarder with Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea,its Southern and eastern boarder with The Popular Republic of Congo. More than 85% of its territory is covered by the equatorial forest, protected by 13 natural reserves and Parks among which tourists from all other the world will enjoy to see and discover nature in its true form.The currency used there is the franc CFA, 1 Euro = 656 FCFA roughly. It is a country that has been stable since acquiring its independence in 1960, never facing war. 

Lecony Canyon
Among the wonderful sites you would definitely want to visit in Gabon, you may want to go to the Lope National Park in the center of the country, a natural reserve where beauty meets comfort and true satisfaction. It has many hotels located in a beautiful valley that is crossed by the Ogooue river, the main Gabonese watercourse. Mountains, plains, and wildlife are among the features that this outstanding reserve has to offer. The easiest way to get there will be by train, leaving Libreville the main city. You can also consider going by car as an alternative . Visiting the vast and astonishing Lecony canyon in the south east province of Haut-Ogooue is also a worth doing trip, a place crafted by nature over thousands of years. That beautiful canyon is almost the symbol of the entire province. You can reach the canyon by leaving Libreville by train if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the country throughout its railway (around 10 hours) getting off at Franceville, the final destination, then taking a car to Lecony, the closest city to the canyon. Or take off from libreville to Mvengue (Franceville's airport) and then go on a car trip to Lecony.

The Poubara waterfalls, The Cristal mountains and many more attractions await you there. You will enjoy the tropical weather and everything that the gabonese nature has to offer to its visitors, so look for the nearest travel agencies, pack your bags and get ready to go for an unforgettable experience.
